Program objectives
At the conclusion of the program, the student will be able to organize, prepare and animate activities related to daycare in a school setting. This will include learning about the overall physical, social, and intellectual development of the pre-school and primary school child, and measures required to assure his or her quality care and security.
Admission conditions
To be eligible for admission to this program, candidates must be 18 years of age and meet the following requirements:
Hold a Secondary School Diploma (SSD) or its equivalent

Statement of competency
- Determine their suitability for the occupation and training process
- Establish professional relationships in the work environment
- Interact with children and groups of children of preschool and elementary school age
- Interact with children and groups of children with diverse challenges
- Plan and organize activities for children and groups of children
- Assure health and well-being as well as the security of children
- Assure the progression of lunch and snack activities
- Create activities designed for socio-affective and moral development
- Create activities designed for psycho-motor development
- Create activities designed for cognitive development
- Integrate into a work environment
